Search engines compared to Google, MSN, AOL, Yahoo

Why do you prefer Google to Yahoo? What do you like MSN? What is the added value of AOL? This is a survey that Majestic Research Corp. has submitted a sample of users and of which he published the results ottobre.Cosa to come out? Nothing that we did not know already, but everything is stock.

Let's start with Google. 68% of respondents used because it offers the best search results, while 17% appreciate the interface.

On the other hand, 65% of the sample appreciates AOL for access to email, news and other services not directly linked to research.

A similar opinion was expressed against MSN (63%) and Yahoo (52%), with the difference that the latter is enjoying some success (33% vs. 8% MSN) for its search service .

In the special list of with sponsored results seen less and less, MSN, AOL beats of measure: 31% of users (compared to 29% of AOL) does not notice the slightest presence of advertisements. Followed by Yahoo with 23% and close Google (19%) and Ask Jeeves (18%).
