I want to point out two very good free hosting sites for beginners to use the first web applications with dynamic languages combined with database as one of the best if not the first in the web application is MySQL. In my ideal for blogs.
Here they are:
Netsons: provides a service which provides free web hosting support PHP, MySQL database of 100MB, 150MB, unlimited bandwidth and ftp access. I tried it and I had good results always very helpful and quick to solve problems.
Gigacites: provides a service which provides free web hosting support PHP, MySQL databases, 20GB of space, bandwidth and 300GB/mese ftp access. Not yet tried.

Good advice to Netsons: I have a site hosted there, and I like it very well. The last was down to 4 months ago, not bad for a free hosting
(Pity about some of the words "forbidden" - eg., You can not write "wget" in their articles or comments).
